It was recombined as Globigerinatheka index korotkovi by Bolli (1972); it was recombined as Globigerinatheka korotkovi by Premoli Silva et al. (2006).

Synonyms

Globigerinoides rubriformis was named by Subbotina (1953). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Globigerapsis rubriformis by Samuel and Salaj (1968); it was recombined as Globigerinatheka index rubriformis by Bolli (1972); it was recombined as Globigerinatheka rubriformis by Nocchi et al. (1991); it was synonymized subjectively with Globigerinatheka korotkovi by Premoli Silva et al. (2006).
Globigerinoides subconglobatus subconglobata was named by Shutskaya (1958). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Globigerapsis subconglobatus by Toumarkine (1971); it was recombined as Globigerinatheka subconglobata subconglobata by Toumarkine and Bolli (1975); it was synonymized subjectively with Globigerinatheka korotkovi by Premoli Silva et al. (2006).
