Tritonium roseum was named by Sars in Lovén (1846). It is extant.

It was recombined as Pleurotoma turricula rosea by Jeffreys (1867); it was recombined as Bela harpularia rosea by Lovén (1878); it was recombined as Bela turricula rosea by Kobelt (1905); it was recombined as Lora rosea by Dall (1921); it was recombined as Lora turricula rosea by Grant and IV and Gale (1931).
