Bruckneria plectilis
Taxonomy
Walteriella plectilis was named by Brückner (2006). Its type specimen is SMF XXVI 362 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arnager, Bornholm, sponge-rich mounds, which is in a Coniacian basin reef limestone in the Arnager Limestone Formation of Denmark. It is the type species of Walteriella, Bruckneria.
It was recombined as Bruckneria plectilis by Hsu and Hsiao (2025).
