Taxonomy
Embryocrinus bashkiricus was named by Arendt (1970). Its type specimen is PIN 2446/27, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shakh-Tau Shikhan quarry, Sterlitamak, Bashkortostan, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Cladochonus Limestone Formation of the Russian Federation.
