Taxonomy
Amphipsalidocrinus posterior was named by Arendt (1970). Its type specimen is PIN 1786/9151, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Peshcherny rock, Ufa river, Krasnoufimsk, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Div'ya Formation of the Russian Federation.
