Waltheria marburgensis

Taxonomy
Waltheria marburgensis was named by Gaucher and Sprechmann (1999). Its type specimen is FC DP 2955 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality A, ~50 km north of Treinta y Tres, which is in an Ediacaran marine limestone in the Yerbal Formation of Uruguay. It is the type species of Waltheria.
