Othneiocrinus priscus
Taxonomy
Atopocrinus priscus was named by Lane (1970). Its type specimen is USNM 165240 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is J-18, which is in a Dapingian deep subtidal ramp limestone/shale in the Kanosh Shale Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Atopocrinus, Othneiocrinus.
It was recombined as Othneiocrinus priscus by Lane (1978).
