Taxonomy

Jaubertites was named by Sarkar (1955). Its type is Jaubertites dubius.

It was considered a nomen nudum by Wright et al. (1996).

It was assigned to Ancyloceratinae by Delanoy and Baudouin (2023).

Synonyms

Audouliceras was named by Thomel (1964).

It was reranked as Ancyloceras (Adouliceras) by Förster and Weier (1983); it was reranked as Ancyloceras (Audouliceras) by Wright et al. (1996), Landra et al. (2000); it was synonymized subjectively with Jaubertites by Delanoy and Baudouin (2023).

It was assigned to Ancyloceras by Förster and Weier (1983), Wright et al. (1996), Landra et al. (2000); to Ancyloceratidae by Mikhailova and Baraboshkin (2002); and to Ancyloceratinae by Stenshin et al. (2014).
Coopericeras was named by Vermeulen and Lazarin (2007).

It was synonymized subjectively with Jaubertites by Delanoy and Baudouin (2023).
