Alibashinautilus vetus
Taxonomy
Alibashinautilus vetus was named by Korn and Ghaderi (2025). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.32053, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aras Valley, Araxoceras beds, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Julfa Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Alibashinautilus.
