Taxonomy
Tainoceras admonens was named by Korn and Ghaderi (2025). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.29348, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aras Valley, Vedioceras beds, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Julfa Formation of Iran.
