Zulostrea zulu
Taxonomy
Zulostrea zulu was named by Cooper (2015). Its type specimen is DM-PCZ3401 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality D. Southern Edge of KwaNibala Penninsula, Lake St. Lucia, which is in a Campanian carbonate limestone in the St. Lucia Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Zulostrea.
