Taxonomy
Pogocrinus was named by Kelly and Ausich (1978) [non Pogocrinus Gagnebin, 1930, p. 219, not considered an echinoderm (according to Ubaghs, et al., 1978, p. T927).]. Its type is Pogocrinus antiquus.

It was assigned to Eustenocrinidae by Kelly and Ausich (1978).
