Taxonomy
Serpula (Anellidia) veridica was named by de Gregorio (1930). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sosio Limestone near Palazzo Adriano (de Gregorio coll), which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy.

It was recombined as Anellidia veridica by Branson (1948).
