Taxonomy
Yunannia yunkaiensis was named by Zhang et al. (2021). Its type specimen is Ng4035 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is near Gankeng Village, which is in a Darriwilian/Sandbian marine horizon in the Dongchong Formation of China.
