Taxonomy
Crenilabium austropsomum was named by Stilwell and Zinsmeister (1992). Its type specimen is USNM 441863, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is IPS 443, Seymour Island, which is in a Lutetian coastal sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
