Microdrillia infans reklawensis was named by Garvie (2013). Its type specimen is PRI 64799 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Reklaw Locality 4, which is in a Ypresian shallow subtidal claystone in the Reklaw Formation of Texas.
