Elmosteus lundarensis
Taxonomy
Eastmanosteus lundarensis was named by Hanke et al. (1996). Its type specimen is MM V-2285, a partial skull (skull roof), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lily Bay East Quarry, which is in an Eifelian/Givetian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Elm Point Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Elmosteus lundarensis by Jobbins et al. (2025).
