Taxonomy
Kimberia bispicatus was named by Dennis-Bryan and Miles (1983). Its type specimen is CPC 22567, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gogo Formation, which is in a Frasnian platform/shelf-margin reef limestone/shale in the Gogo Formation of Australia.
