Crythiosaurus
Taxonomy
Crythiosaurus was named by Gilmore (1943). It is not extant. Its type is Crythiosaurus mongoliensis. It is the type genus of Crythiosaurinae.
It was assigned to Amphisbaenidae by Gilmore (1943); to Crythiosaurinae by Vanzolini (1951); and to Crythiosauridae by Kuhn (1966).
