Aigialosaurus dalmaticus
Taxonomy
Aigialosaurus dalmaticus was named by Kramberger (1892). Its type specimen is BSP 1902II501, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton, lacking middle-distal tail), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Between Starigrad and Vrboska, Hvar, which is in a Cenomanian marine limestone in Croatia. It is the type species of Aigialosaurus.
