Taxonomy
Parazollopsis cascadensis was named by Lapasha and Miller (1985). Its type specimen is UMPM No. 991. Its type locality is Great Falls Locality 8, which is in an Aptian lacustrine shale/sandstone in the Kootenai Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Parazollopsis.
