Scymnosaurus ferox
Taxonomy
Scymnosaurus ferox was named by Broom (1903). Its type specimen is SAM, a partial skull (Partial snout), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is "Near Beaufort West", which is in a Capitanian terrestrial siliciclastic in South Africa. It is the type species of Scymnosaurus.
