Albionbatrachus wightensis
Taxonomy
Albionbatrachus wightensis was named by Meszoely et al. (1984). Its type specimen is MCZ 8784, an other (nearly complete frontoparietal bone), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Headon Hill HH2, Lower Headon Beds, Isle of Wight, which is in an Eocene marine claystone/claystone in the Lower Headon Beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
