Ampullella hewitti
Taxonomy
Ampullella hewitti was named by Hanna and Hertlein (1949) [m. kosnik taxon no: 10090]. Its type specimen is CAS 9430, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 32388A, Carneros Creek, which is in an Eocene marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.
It was recombined as Euspirocrommium hewitti by Marincovich (1977).
