Eophractus casamayorensis
Taxonomy
Eophractus casamayorensis was named by Schaeffer (1949). Its type specimen is A.M.N.H. No. 3165, a partial skull (associated left nasal and left maxillary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is "Bird Clay", which is in a Casamayoran lacustrine claystone/tuff in Argentina. It is the type species of Eophractus.
