Taxonomy
Triaenopus lulli was named by Thorpe (1929). Its type specimen is YPM 1217 and is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Totoket Reservoir footprints TD, which is in a Hettangian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/shale in the East Berlin Formation of Connecticut.
