Phygraea pacifica

Taxonomy
Pycnodonte (Phygraea) pacifica was named by Squires and Demetrion (1990) [Lower-Upper Eocene; California]. Its type specimen is IGM 5067, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 1220 [Bateque Fm], which is in a Ypresian offshore sandstone/limestone in the Bateque Formation of Mexico.

It was recombined as Phygraea pacifica by Hendy (2020).
