Champsosaurus tenuis
Taxonomy
Champsosaurus tenuis was named by Erickson (1981). Its type specimen is SMM P79.14.1, a partial skeleton (Partial skeleton with a nearly complete skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Upper breaks of the Little Missouri River, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Bullion Creek Formation of North Dakota.
