Saniwa ensidens
Taxonomy
Saniwa ensidens was named by Leidy (1870). Its type specimen is USNM 2185, a set of postcrania (disarticulated partial skeleton including partial skull and mandible fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of Granger, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Saniwa.
