Estesia mongoliensis
Taxonomy
Estesia mongoliensis was named by Norell et al. (1992). Its type specimen is IGM 3/14, a skull (A skull and mandibles), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lizard Hill, Khulsan [AMNH], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Estesia.
