Shinisauroides latipalatum
Taxonomy
Shinisauroides latipalatum was named by Borsuk-Bialynicka (1985). Its type specimen is ZPAL MgR-I/58, a partial skull (partial skull and two vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nemegt locality (Barun Goyot site), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Carusia intermedia by Gao and Hou (1996).
