Taxonomy
Repenomamus giganticus was named by Hu et al. (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IVPP V14155, a partial skeleton (partial skull with right mandible, and articulated postcranium (no). Its type locality is Lujiatun village, Shangyuan [general] (IVPP), which is in a Barremian/Aptian fluvial tuff in the Yixian Formation of China.
