Amphicotylus lucasii
Taxonomy
Amphicotylus lucasii was named by Cope (1878). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lucas's Site, Garden Park, which is in a Tithonian channel sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Goniopholis lucasii by Cope (1888), Hay (1902), Hay (1930), Bronzati et al. (2012); it was considered a nomen dubium by Smith et al. (2010).
