Polyglyphanodon sternbergi
Taxonomy
Polyglyphanodon sternbergi was named by Gilmore (1940). Its type specimen is USNM 15477, a partial skeleton (skull, jaws and most of the postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South Dragon Canyon, "lizard locality", which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the North Horn Formation of Utah.
