Ogmophis arenarum

Taxonomy
Ogmophus arenarum was named by Douglass (1903). Its type specimen is C.M. No. 744, a set of vertebrae (three vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Flint Creek Beds, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial horizon in Montana.

It was recombined as Ogmophis arenarum by Hay (1930), Vanzolini (1952) and Rage (1984).
