Araripesuchus buitreraensis
Taxonomy
Araripesuchus buitreraensis was named by Pol and Apesteguía (2005). Its type specimen is MPCA-PV 235 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Buitrera (Hoyada de los esfenodontes), which is in a Cenomanian crevasse splay sandstone in the Candeleros Formation of Argentina.
