Taxonomy
Sinbadiella pygmaea was named by Hautmann and Nützel (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BSPG2004XII-10. Its type locality is Windowblind Butte, Bed VIII, San Rafael Swell, which is in a Smithian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal packstone in the Moenkopi Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Sinbadiella.
