Pojetaconcha beecheri
Taxonomy
Conocardium beecheri was named by Raymond (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sloop Island, Lake Champlain, Chazy Group, which is in a Chazyan carbonate limestone in the Chazy Limestone Formation of Vermont.
It was recombined as Bransonia beecheri by Pojeta and Runnegar (1976); it was recombined as Pojetaconcha beecheri by Waterhouse (1987), Wagner (2023).
