Taxonomy
Paramacellodus keebleri was named by Nydam and Cifelli (2002). Its type specimen is OMNH 60576, a maxilla, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is OMNH V1156, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in the Cloverly Formation of Montana.
