Taxonomy
Ocruranus septentrionalis was named by Peel and Skovsted (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MGUH 27221. Its type locality is GGU 314809 - Albert Heim Bjerge, which is in a Dyeran marine shale in the Bastion Formation of Greenland.
