Patagoniophis australiensis
Taxonomy
Patagoniophis australiensis was named by Scanlon (2005). Its type specimen is QMF 19710 (mid-trunk vertebra) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in Australia.
