Tetraserpula was named by Parsch (1956) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bajo-u K Maes-u Sepkoski's reference number: 368.
Tetraserpula was created as a subgenus by Parsch in order to differentiate between fossil serpulids. It is in fact a parataxon]. It is not extant.
