Palaeoscurria (Calloconus) gibbosa was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Palaeoscurria gibbosa by Horný (1963); it was recombined as Calloconus gibbosa by Wagner (2023).
