Taxonomy
Cassowarioides anisomorpha was named by Caldwell and Chatterton (1995). It is not extant. Its type locality is Fauna x, Section AV5, Delorme Fm., Mackenzie Mts., which is in a Wenlock slope limestone/shale in the Delorme Formation of Canada.
