Taxonomy
Craspedostoma elegantulum was named by Lindström (1884). It is not extant. Its type locality is Samsugns C, in Othem, which is in a Sheinwoodian deep subtidal ramp limestone/marl in the Slite Beds Formation of Sweden. It is the type species of Craspedostoma.
