Cyclonema (Cyclonemina) cives was named by Perner (1903) [Cyclonema (Cyclonemina) cives Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Lochkov, which is in a Pridoli carbonate limestone in the Pozáry Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Cyclonema cives by Wagner (2023).
