Devononema typicum
Taxonomy
Devononema typicum was named by Fraunfelter (1973). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed C. Clear Creek, along south bank and in bed of intermittent stream, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the St. Laurent Formation of Illinois.
It was recombined as Gyronema typicum by Blodgett (1992).
