Taxonomy
Helicotoma whiteavesiana was named by Raymond (1908). It is not extant. Its type locality is Raymond A2. Canadian Pacific railroad cut, E. Main St., Aylmer, which is in a Chazyan carbonate limestone/sandstone in the Hog’s Back Formation of Canada.
