Hemithecella expansa
Taxonomy
Hemithecella expansa was named by Butts (1941) [Hemithecella expansa Ulrich &Bridge in Butts 1941]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Just north of De Busk Mill, 3 miles south of Glade Spring, which is in a Demingian carbonate limestone in the Chepultepec Formation of Virginia.
