| J. R. Laurie 1986 | Sclerites high, with prominent apices and radial plicae. Concentric ornament of evenly and closely spaced carinate ribs, triangular to semiovate in section with a very fine, delicate, concentrically attenuated, reticulate micro-ornament superimposed. Form A sclerites ovate to subrectangular in section with moderate to strong curvature. There are two sclerite types: AI sclerites have no plicae on the face toward which the apex curves. Type All sclerites have two plicae on this face.
Form B sclerites subovate in section. There are two sclerite types: Type BI which is relatively low, subconical with moderate to strong curvature; Type BII which is high, subconical with curvature weak or absent. Form C sclerites subtriangular to subcrescentic in section, curvature moderate to strong, torsion absent to slight. There are two sclerite types: Type CI which is high, subcrescentic with moderate to strong curvature, slight torsion; Type CII which is high, subtriangular in section with moderate to strong curvature, slight torsion. |
